Brockdish Village

Area Information

Brockdish is a village and civil parish in the South Norfolk district of Norfolk, England. It is located a mile or so (by road) from the A143 which goes to Great Yarmouth.

According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 605.

The village is situated on the River Waveney (south of which is Suffolk), and is about four miles south-west of Harleston.

Neighbouring villages include Needham, Syleham and Thorpe Abbotts.

Brockdish is a picture postcard pretty village set just north of the river Waveney which divides Suffolk and Norfolk. In the heart of the Waveney valley Brockdish countryside is home to a multitude of wildlife including Otters.
