Open garden success

Posted by: Stephen In: Local Information| News

Although I don’t have the exact visitor numbers yet I can see from the cars and people that the Open Garden & Daffodil Walk has been popular. We visited with my Father-in-law and it was really nice.

Attractions included the Tombola, Cakes, Refreshments, various other stalls and, of course, the wonderful garden.

Picturesque is an understatement as you can see from the photo above!

I will update this item when I know how much was raised for Waveney First Responders. Thank you to John and Jackie for opening their garden and putting on the other attractions for such a worthy cause.

Update: over £1000 was raised!

We attended and helped where we could. Both days were great fun and without being involved you would just not anticipate the amount of work involved for John and Jaclie. Unlike some others they don’t make a lot of noise about what they do but they sure as hell are effective!!
