Possible loss of Pharmaceutical choice

Posted by: Stephen In: Local Information| News

Some local residents have been in touch with me to bring to my attention the Government’s proposals which could result in the loss of in house pharmaceutical services at Harleston surgeries.  A response to the proposals is needed by the 20th of November.

You can find the details online:

http://www.dh.gov.uk/en/Consultations/Liveconsultations/index.htm

And this link includes a response form.

Pleased to say that the government has backed down on this issue. For the moment, dispensaries at GP practices are safe. Thank you to everyone who responded to the consultation document.
