So what do you want to say ..... ?

There's no vocal intimidation on this site - just plain old writing. This is your chance to put across your balanced views on the whole situation.

As far as the mute point about travellers verses the site - I don't want a housing development there either, nor an industrial unit. This is not about the majority ganging up on the minority (nor the ethnic minority). It's about realising that we live in one of the most beautiful villages in the Waveney Valley and it deserves to stay that way.

Look forward to reading your posts.

Sadly, I've heard the "hearing your views" line rather too often to entirely believe it.
Complex views are rarely given a hearing. Angry statements, loudly expressed, appear to be the norm and this is quite likely to intimidate people who are not entirely in agreement. People may well have strong feelings on both sides, but the negative is far simpler to express publicly, especially when loud vocal support is likely to be the result.
Much of the opposition I have heard expressed, appears to be based on opposition to travellers rather than to the site itself.
I suspect there are a considerable number of people who are less clear in their views than the apparent majority but who, like me, feel that their views will not be "heard" but will receive merely an "appropriate response".

I'm sure if you want to make yourself known at the meeting on Monday you'll have the appropriate response. If you're a villager, you really are in the minority with that view. Look forward to seeing you there and hearing your views.
