I live at the Needham end of Brockdish and I am sure it is the same the other end of the village, but the 60 mph does not seem to have been reduced by the time traffic comes past my front door, and traffic seems to be doing the same speed leaving as well. I think a chicane on both sides of the road & both ends of the village would slow traffic both in and out of the village. They have one at Broome/Ellingham in Norfolk which works well. This would be a phisical obstruction which is imposible to ignore, this would also stop H G Vs but 7.5t would still get through.
