Time at the bar?

Posted by: Stephen In: Local Information

An article in the Guardian recently reported that every week 39 pubs close their doors.  Depressingly the article reports there are now more supermarkets then pubs in the UK.

In some communities villagers have even clubbed together to buy shares in their village pubs to stop their closure.

The pubs that do well locally, such as the Half Moon at Rushall, appear to get most of their revenue from food sales.

In our latest poll we are keen to hear if you eat at the Kings Head or if you would do.
